CLEO Hosts Community Climate Forum

IMG 5840April 25, 2017: CLEO and the City of Miami hosted a Community Climate Forum on Thursday, April 25th where Miami residents, City of Miami representatives (including Jane Gilbert, Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Miami), County representatives (like Jim Murley from the Miami Dade County Office of Resilience), activists, and community leaders gathered to discuss Miami's greatest weaknesses and greatest strengths in terms of resilience, community, and efficiency. The over 50 attendees shared their mutual concerns with the City of Miami and how climate change acts as a threat multiplier. The City will now take the resident's concerns into consideration as they draft future plans to continue building a  resilient Miami.
