Climate Change Town Hall

18423884 10155107968545498 1120369661492872319 nMay 10, 2017: Caroline Lewis attended and spoke at a town hall focused on Climate Change in the new Administration: Why South Florida Should Care organized by Impact Strategies. At the Urban League of Broward County, Caroline was joined by moderator Angela Rye, and fellow panelists Fl. Rep. Alcee Hastings, Fl. Sen. Oscar Braynon, and Karina Castillo of Moms Clean Air Force. The town hall was focused on an open and lively discussion addressing the pressing issues of climate change in South Florida. The 75 attendees were urged by the panelists to mobilize politically and demand climate action from not only the new administration, but local governments as well.
