TAKE ACTION

“Action is the antidote to despair” – Joan Baez

1. FIND AND CONTACT YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS

Your opinion and voice really matter!

The more they hear from us, their voters, the more they care!

The impacts of climate change are devastating, especially for communities at risk due to geographical locations, demographic or racial disparities, socio-financial disadvantages, and/or lack of appropriate resources.

We must hold our political leaders accountable for taking appropriate actions to protect our lives/ecosystems and work towards a healthier, safer, and more just future. You can contact the elected officials in your city, county, state, congress, and the White House and voice your opinion. Remember, they work for us, WE, THE PEOPLE!

You can get the names and contact information of the people who represent you on the federal, state, and local levels by visiting the link below.

2. SIGN OUR ACTION ALERTS

Our collective action matters and it is loud!

Action alerts are generally centered around social issues and democratic topics and directed to political leaders, organizations, or sectors.

The CLEO Institute Action Alerts are climate change related and highlight the climate crisis we are currently experiencing, particularly in Florida. However, we consider national government policies or actions that go against a more sustainable present and future and generate petitions or actions accordingly.

We are all part of this planet and we must be part of the change we want to see in this world!

3. DONATE TO THE CLEO INSTITUTE

POWER US FOR MORE CLIMATE ACTION!

The CLEO Institute is dedicated to build climate literacy and climate action!
We support our youth and empower resilient leaders with science-based information. The climate impacts we are seeing now underscore the importance of our work.

To be climate ready, we need an informed and engaged community! Help us build a more resilient, sustainable, and just future by powering our work with your donation today!
