Florida Environmental Challenges & Impacts

March 17 @ 10:30 am - 11:10 am

Florida’s Puerto Rican population represents a vibrant and dynamic group whose positive impact on this great state is evident throughout the peninsula and its history. The Sunshine State has become the epicenter of activity and advancement for this community. Join Ideas for Us, CLEO’s executive director, Yoca Arditi-Rocha, and Dr. Frances Colón (both Puerto Rican environmental advocates themselves) in discussing the environmental priorities we all need to embrace to thrive in the face of rising temperatures and extreme weather events like powerful and destructive hurricanes.
