Engages and empowers youth to take climate action.
Middle school, high school, and college students.
Florida is the most vulnerable state in the nation to climate impacts, and we need your help to protect our common home. For many people, the climate crisis is a ‘future’ problem. At CLEO, we help students connect the dots and understand the urgency of the climate impacts, so that you feel prepared and empowered to advocate for climate action and policy. GenCLEO offers members many opportunities for leadership and growth, from media and communication trainings to civic leadership and activism. We recognize that every student has a unique history and contributes special skills and talents to the group. We hope you will join us in 2021, and make friends throughout the state of Florida as we collectively find our voices and use them for the greater good.
Our GenCLEO movement has already gotten 8 municipalities in South Florida to declare a climate emergency!
