OVERVIEW

MUNICIPAL/LOCAL GOVERNMENT
PARTNERSHIPS

For years, CLEO has played a central role in helping local governments, communities, and businesses to roll up their sleeves to work together. Our knowledge, information management, and powerful relationships address a wide ranging portfolio that includes climate science, social science, public health, emergency preparedness, and resilience building.

We host Mayors Roundtable luncheon discussions with elected mayors, their managers, and senior representatives from municipalities. These roundtables convene local elected leaders to share concerns, climate-related resolutions, best practices, and resilience strategies. These discussions often promote joint planning toward infrastructure improvements and climate readiness. The CLEO Institute also provides interactive climate workshops for municipality employees. These help department heads and staff better understand the need for climate action and sustainability practices related to their work.

CLEO’s work with municipalities and SE Florida Counties include:
City of Coral Gables, Village of Palmetto Bay, Town of Cutler Bay, Wilton Manors, City of Miami Shores, Village of Pinecrest, City of Miami Beach, City of West Palm Beach, City of Orlando, City of Tallahassee, and Town of Surfside, as well as Leon, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.
