The CLEO Institute Appoints Susan Glickman as Vice President of Policy & Partnerships

Miami, January 16th  — The CLEO Institute, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to climate literacy, advocacy, and community resilience through justice-centered solutions, is delighted to announce the appointment of Susan Glickman as their new Vice President of Policy & Partnerships who will sit under the leadership of the Executive Director.

With over 40 years of experience as a clean energy and climate advocate, Susan Glickman brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in driving positive change. Formerly serving as the State Director for the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, Glickman has been at the forefront of clean energy & climate related initiatives.

Glickman’s commitment to climate action extends beyond advocacy, as she actively contributes to shaping policy at the municipal, state, and federal level. Susan is on the Steering Committee of the East Central Florida Regional Resilience Collaborative and helped to initiate the Tampa Bay Regional Resiliency Coalition. She is a valued member of Tampa Mayor Jane Castor’s Sustainability & Resilience Advisory Team.

Recognized for her significant contributions, Glickman was named to Florida Trend’s Inaugural list of the 500 most influential business leaders in the state. Her strategic vision, coupled with her extensive network and deep understanding of clean energy dynamics, positions her as a valuable addition to The CLEO Institute’s leadership team.

In her role as Vice President of Policy & Partnerships, Glickman will play a pivotal role in advancing The CLEO Institute’s mission to foster climate resilience, empower communities, and drive policy changes that address the urgent challenges posed by the climate crisis.
